KGMI Grand Kapatiran 2019

KAZAMA Grameen Microfinance Inc. held it’s Grand Kapatiran 2019 in the Summer Capital of the Philippines at the Venus Parkview Hotel Baguio last July 25 to 27, 2019.

On the first day of Kapatiran our company President, Mr. Marlou R. Concepcion started the day with a Devotion and Inspirational Topic about “Work is Blessing”. Followed by an Opening Ceremony (National Anthem, KGMI Hymn and Roll Call of the attendees). Opening Remark is given by Mr. Joan A. Cortez our Senior Operations Manager and succedeed by the messages from our KGMI BOT Vice Chairperson - Dr. Magdalena Bautista and KGI-MBA President - Ms. Leticia Castillo. KGMI Branches report their assessments for the second quarter of 2019. The afternoon topic is about Business Plan Assessment that has been discussed by Mr. Ronald V. Tactaquin, KGMI Finance Director and followed by Planning Workshop. The activities doesn’t stop that day because on that night, KGMI employees with 10, 15, 20 and 25 year of service has given award for their loyalty to the program. While Top Performing Staff and Branches are also awarded for their hardship and dedication for the success of KAZAMA.

An uplifting message started the second day of the Kapatiran was led by our Executive Director, Mr. Ruben A. Rianzares that definitely boost the morale and performance of our employees. After that a Plenary Session occurred where branches presents the output of their workshop from yesterday. Current Portfolio and Delinquency Management Status of KGMI has been tackle that day. Then a discussion about KGMI Revolving Loan discussed by the Finance Director of KGMI followed by MNRC SPM Standard and Compliance by Dr. Sonny R. Guiang Ph.D - Research and Development Director. Mrs. Marycel V. Pamintuan the HRD Directress presents some of her concerns and Mrs. Mary Jane N. Concepcion, General Manager of KGI-MBA discussed her agenda regarding of MBA's operations. In addition Internal Audit Deparment Manager Mrs. Ginalyn P. Cipriano and Community Development and Transformation Department Directress Mrs. Josephine Q. Elizalde shared their concern before the second day of the Kapatiran ended.

Good news has been brought on the third and final day of Kapatiran by announcing the launching of KAZAMA Employees Credit Cooperative (KECC) and a pre-membership orientation was also included. Area Managers together with their branch managers presented the final plan and strategy that they concluded. After that Senior Operation Manager discussed the Overall Operational Plan of KGMI succedeed by a refreshing message from Dr. Ricardo S. Reyes Jr. Ph.D - KGMI Board of Trustees Chairman.

The Grand Kapatiran 2019 really made its way to the heart, mind and spirit of every KGMI employees. This is a rich and fulfilling experience that each of us will treasure and without a doubt we are all yearning for another Kapatiran to come. God Bless KGMI!
